Tamara Sherwood

WCRJ Program Manager

"YFC has the resources and a mission that is a pathway to success for youth and families who need services, which aligns with my vision that all families have the information and support that creates thriving and joy-filled communities. Restorative Practice has been my passion for over 20 years, and I'm grateful to be working with a team that understands and has the 'heart' to do this work."

WCRJ Case Coordinator

"As a recently retired educator, I have learned the importance of restorative practices. I believe that youth need to be given chances to learn from their mistakes and failures. I am looking forward to helping school districts in Weld County implement restorative practices in order for them to establish a culture that develops relationships and values individuals."

"My passion is working with family and youth to provide services, support, and knowledge. I love working for Youth and Family Connections because of the resources and commitment to youth and family which aligns with my passions. Restorative Justice has been a long standing practice that is influential to many lives throughout communities including mine. My goal is to serve my community and provide programming and information that can be used long after leaving YFC. I am thankful to be working with a team of like-minded individuals who have the drive to educate, support, and meet community needs."
